Jena Matzen lives in Durham, North Carolina with her husband and children. She has been creating jewelry and other art for over 30 years. She loves the creative process and is inspired by ancient and contemporary art + design. She is self-taught in jewelry design, mosaics, fused glass and metalsmithing, but has studied under several fine potters/ceramicists. She is also a former practicing legal aid lawyer, environmental and human rights activist and law professor.
